ABOUT

Mystique-by-river-with-guitar

With a powerful voice, a lifelong love of music, and heart for pointing others to Christ, Mystique realized at an early age that she was called to share the gift of song with others. At the age of 4, her first public performance of “Can’t Even Walk”, originally recorded by the Kingsmen changed her life and has been her anchor song ever since.

Mystique is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and has traveled the world singing, worshipping, and conducting music. She is currently a singer-songwriter and the Worship Director at The River Church. Before she realized that her greatest joy in life was to sing to and for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was a music teacher, musical theatre stage performer and director, and a vocal coach. With a degree in music, Mystique loves and understands how music transcends. She enjoys being a mother of two beautiful children, a wife, loves traveling and the beach, and spending time with her close family.

In 2006, Mystique was a semi-finalist and a top-ten finalist on the Gospel Music Channel’s national television show, “Gospel Dream”. Her strong vocals and personal conviction in her rendition of Jason Crabb’s “Through the Fire” landed her in the finals and has been one of her favorite songs throughout her life’s journey.

Mystique’s sound is mystique… blending contemporary Christian with southern gospel and soul music, with the message that changes hearts- Jesus is the way. Her debut single, “I’m Anchored”, is birthed from Hebrews 6:19 and is her unshakeable truth.
